Digimon New Century is a game where your DPS unit could act as a Control unit, and your Support unit could act as your DPS unit. They are so expandable. This recommendation only offers the basic look to how you could set this unit up, but don't be so rigid, try out your own unique build, it surely would fit your team better.

  1. In PVP, Gabumon BF is mostly used as Secondary DPS.

  2. Even though Gabumon BF can't be inflicted with cleansable abnormal status, it's still a good idea to build him with some Status Resistance to protect him against Banished effect.

  3. Gabumon BF is very effective if he's using his exclusive microchip core.

Arts

Normal Skill (Cool Edge)

Attack a single target, dealing 150% damage, with 100% fixed chance to grant all Water element allies with 1 layer of Rising Tide.

( Rising Tide: A unique stack for Water element Digimon. It can enable various bonus effects according to the number of layers. Can stack up to 10 layers.)

Afterwards, attack a single target 9 times, dealing 75% damage each time. Then gain +10 layers of Rising Tide.

When the target's HP Ratio is less than 50%, attack a single target 9 times, dealing 55% damage each time, and then additionally attacks all enemies, dealing 300% damage, with a 50% fixed chance to dispel 1 buff from all targets and another 50% fixed chance to grant the dispelled buffs to himself. Afterwards, gain +10 layers of Rising Tide.

Sub Skill (Raddle Star)

After using Full Metal Machine Gun, enter Pursuit status lasting for 2 rounds.

During the Pursuit status, if Gabumon BF has at least 5 layers of Rising Tide, after our allies damaged the enemy, if the HP ratio of any enemy is less than or equal to 20%, Gabumon BF has 100% fixed chance to launch a pursuit attack targeting the enemy with the lowest HP for 10 times. Each attack will deal True Damage equivalent to 99% of Gabumon BF's ATK stats.

After triggering this effect, 5 layers of Rising Tide will be consumed.

( Pursuit: During this status, if Gabumon BF has at least 5 layers of Rising Tide, after our allies damaged the enemy, if the HP ratio of any enemy is less than or equal to 20%, Gabumon BF has 100% fixed chance to launch a pursuit attack targeting the enemy with the lowest HP for 10 times. Each attack will deal True Damage equivalent to 99% of Gabumon BF's ATK stats.)

Passive Skill (Bond of Friendship)
