Breakthrough Skill Upgrade

Breakthrough recommendations:

  • 0 Star (Virgin): Usable enough for PVE content, but need to be the slowest in the team.

  • 1 Stars: Now you have more freedom with her SPD.

  • 3 Stars: Makes her a very strong cleanser for Control Status.

  • 6 Stars: Give her more survivability with full Damage Reduction stats upgrade from breakthrough and kernel bonus. Also would reduce 2 AP to cast Main Skill and Sub Skill when you have 6 layers of Fox Soul, which means you can cast the skills more often.

Build Recommendation

Digimon New Century is a game where your DPS unit could act as a Control unit, and your Support unit could act as your DPS unit. They are so expandable. This recommendation only offers the basic look to how you could set this unit up, but don't be so rigid, try out your own unique build, it surely would fit your team better.

  1. Sakuyamon X is a very reliable starter unit for newbies. Even 1 star Sakuyamon X is enough to help newbies starting up, both in PVE and also PVP.

  2. You can put more focus on gaining additional AP so that she could launch his Main Skill or Sub Skill more often, which means you will get survivability buffs more often.

  3. Sakuyamon X's halo SPD boost can't be stacked with other boosting-type halo SPD buff, such as from Kentaurosmon X and Erlangmon BM. In this case, the higher value will be the active boost. However, her SPD boost can be stacked with reduction-type halo SPD debuff, such as from Takutoumon.

  4. Sakuyamon X can function properly even without his exclusive microchip core, but, using it would surely helps.

Arts

Normal Skill (Royal Fox)

When used during Sakuyamon X's own turn, gain 1 layer of Fox Soul.

( Fox Soul: Sakuyamon X's exclusive layer. According to the numer of Fox Soul layer, Sakuyamon X will be able to gain various effects.)

Main Skill (Konohana Senki-Banshou)

Then grant Sakura Barrier to all allies, lasting for 1 turn. When targets under the protection of Sakura Barrier receive Fatal Damage, retain at least 1% HP after taking all damage during current action round. Afterwards, remove the Sakura Barrier while granting the target with a Shield equivalent to 60% of target's Maximum HP, lasting for 2 turns, at the same time grant the target with a Broken Sakura mark, lasting for 2 turns. Targets with Broken Sakura mark will refresh the value of the same Shield after anyone takes an action. When this Shield is removed, Broken Sakura mark will be removed in advance.

After casting this skill, grant ATK +20%, DEF +60% to all allies, with another 50% fixed probability to grant them with Dispel Resistance, lasting for 2 turns.

After using this skill, gain 2 layers of Fox Soul.

( Sakura Barrier: A type of undispellable buff that will protect the possessor from being immediately defeated when receiving Fatal Damage.)

( Broken Sakura: A special mark left after Sakura Barrier is broken that will refresh the possessor's Shield after anyone takes an action. This mark is unavailable in PVE mode.)
